This is a TEST!! dlf

Ok, we will be running the Delaware Bay tomorrow on our way to Cape May. The bay has some healthy current that can either help you or slow you down. So here is the test team. Base on the tide and current charts below. When  should Fryedaze leave the C&D canal and head down the Delaware bay?

    I'm guessing you would want to leave between 0400 and 0500 hrs. It looks like that is after the start of low tide. I'm guessing minus numbers are knots headed out to sea and the positive numbers are when the tide comes in.

    You got it Mike, That would give us the best ride down the bay. We could probably ride at 10 knots instead of 7.5 knts. We don't like running at night so we will probably leave at 0600.

    I still see your present position at Chesapeake City, but how long will it take you to get to the bay?

    We are actually at Summit Marina in Bear Delaware. About 5 miles from Chesapeake City. It will take an hour to get the
    Bay.
